Shop Local: Elmhurst Discount Days
Toss a beanbag for special discounts, and enjoy live music and snacks while shopping.
Downtown Discount Days kicked off Thursday, Aug. 1 and runs through Saturday, Aug. 3, in City Centre. And, as the name indicates, shoppers will be able to find lots of special discounts at participating downtown stores.
Twenty-three businesses are participating in a sidewalk sale, and shoppers will have the opportunity to win discounts via bean bag toss while enjoying snacks and beverages.

In addition to all the great bargains in town, musicians will perform throughout the weekend.
It's a first for Elmhurst, and organizers plan on making it an annual event. The weather looks to be just about perfect this weekend, too.
