Rick Kambic recently graduated from Eastern Illinois University after completing the required coursework in Journalism, Sociology, and Pre-Law Studies. His works have been recognized on a state and national level throughout both his high school and collegiate journalism careers.

Since graduating, he has established himself as a solid stringer for several regional news organizations. After working his way up from being a stringer photographer into the editorial assistant job, Rick was recently welcomed into a staff writing position at a suburban newspaper chain.

He aspires to one day write for Star Trek the Magazine and contribute to Gene Roddenberry's ever-expanding notions of universal equality.
