not sure if your aware of it but the Patch 2012 election story does not open. Says URL is not available.

Is it just me or are more people taking 53 instead of 355 since the toll increase? Is this affecting the tax revenue from the Promenade area and other businesses? I know I use to stop at Meijer off of 355 after I got off of the highway after work to pick up milk etc. Now I travel 53 and stop in Lisle at the Jewel. I have noticed more and more people I used to see at Meijer in Bolingbrook I now see in Lisle! Is anyone else noticing this shift in traffic and purchases?
