Patrick David McDonald, 58, of Elmhurst has died. He leaves behind his wife, Mary, and two sons, Patrick Daniel and Nathan Michael. He was a 25-year employee of the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Road, Elmhurst. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 426 N. West Ave., Elmhurst. Interment is private.
