Bryan Middle School Will Stage 'Oklahoma!' This Weekend
Transport yourself to the early 1900’s in the Western Indian Territory soon to become the state of Oklahoma.
The drama department at Bryan Middle School is getting ready to stage the classic "Oklahoma!," with music and lyrics by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein. It is a romantic tale of cowboy Curly McLain and the girl he is smitten with, Laurey Williams. Two show times are available: 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, and 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Bryan, 111 W. Butterfield Road in Elmhurst. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students and children.
