Elmhurst Police Report Dozens of License Violations During the First Half of May

Two drivers were revoked, 19 suspended and 13 didn't have a license.

Terrance Ciorleri, 43, 1911 Balmoral, Westchester, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license after police pulled him over at North and Melrose at 11:43 p.m. May 14. He was released on bond and his vehicle towed for forfeiture. Dennis Pedote, 44, 154 N. Evergreen, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license after police pulled over his white Toyota Land Cruiser for speeding and no seat belt on the 100 block of Evergreen at 3:20 p.m. May 16. Elmhurst Police Report License Violations for the Second Half of April

Police report two arrests for revoked licenses, 13 arrests for suspended licenses and six arrests for driving without a license between April 17 and 30.

Alejo Diaz, 41, 17W706 Butterfield Road Apt. 109, Oakbrook Terrace, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license after police pulled over his Chevy Suburban for driving around marked barricades on North Avenue at 7:27 a.m. April 19. He was released on bond. Harry Mondaine, 33, 2542 W. 78th St. Apt. 3E, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license after police pulled over his white Dodge Stratus for no brake lights at North and York at 12:10 a.m. April 22. Police Report Arrests for Driving with Suspended, Revoked Licenses

Fifteen drivers also charged with driving without a license; reports compiled through the first half of April.

Shamika Kroger, 21, 1506 S. Kostner Apt. 2, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license after police pulled over her silver Nissan Altima for suspended registration at Roosevelt and Route 83 at 12:34 a.m. March 29. She was released on bond. Harris U. Jones, 26, 7347 Hoyne Ave., Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license after police pulled over his white Chrysler 300 for tinted windows at Butterfield and Commonwealth at 11:19 a.m. April 10. Traffic stops and accidents reported by Elmhurst police Dec. 29 through Jan. 17.

Arturo Hernandez, 27, 123 S. Prater, Northlake, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after his gray Chevrolet Conventional truck hit a tree on the 300 block of North Oak Street at 3:08 p.m. Jan. 17. Elmhurst police made nearly 50 arrests for license violations during a one-month period from Oct. 29 through Nov. 29. November also concluded the latest stepped-up DUI enforcement campaign, which put extra officers on the streets during the overnight hours Nov. 12-25. Margarito Barrera, 48, 611 N. Man Escapes on Motorcycle After Popping a Wheelie

A man driving a yellow and black Honda sport motorcycle took off at a high rate of speed on Route 83 at North Avenue doing a wheelie at 6:45 p.m. July 11, police said. Officers attempted to stop him, but the driver, who was wearing a helmet, white T-shirt, black shorts and brown shoes, fled the scene. Police discovered the motorcycle had been sold twice since the registered owner possessed it. An investigation is pending to identify the driver and current owner. Vincent T. Zaccone, 34, 3010 N.
