Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested in Elmhurst Monday Now Faces Charges in Two Counties
Jason Logsdon, already facing 11 counts of armed robbery in Cook County, now faces four more counts in DuPage. The DuPage charges carry a total maximum sentence of 120 years.
The so-called "Salon Bandit," already charged with 11 counts of armed robbery for crimes he allegedly committed in Chicago and the north suburbs, has now been charged with similar crimes in DuPage County. DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin, Bensenville Police Chief Frank Kosman, Glen Ellyn Police Chief Philip Norton and Lombard Police Chief Ray Byrne announced today that charges have been filed against Jason Logsdon, 41, of 900 Chicago Ave., Evanston, for allegedly robbing four DuPage County businesses in the past two months. He was arrested on Monday in Elmhurst. Logsdon allegedly entered each establishment disguised and armed with a pellet gun.
