Elmhurst Residents Asked to Stuff a Truck with Food at York Tuesday

York High School, 355 W. St. Charles Road in Elmhurst, will serve as the local drop-off site for the Spirit of Giving food drive all day on Tuesday, Dec. 4. Dominick’s and ABC 7 News have partnered with Northern Illinois Food Bank and the Greater Chicago Food Depository for many years for this holiday food drive; Dominick’s locations collect food and funds from early November through Jan. 2. But this year, they are looking to collect even more food and funds than ever by heavily promoting the event throughout the Chicago area. In addition to live remotes at Dominick’s stores, ABC 7 will broadcast live at York High School at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
