U.S. Rep. Mike Quigley (D-5th) visited the Elmhurst on Friday, Feb. 1, to hear from his new constituents and city officials. Along with other parts of DuPage County, Elmhurst became part of Illinois’ 5th Congressional District at the start of this year. “It’s important new constituents know that my office is always accessible and ready to serve them with any number of federal issues they may face,” Quigley said. “From small business development to affordable education, meeting with people in the district provides a critical perspective on the human impact of decisions we make every day in D.C.” Quigley began the day at the Elmhurst Metra station, greeting morning commuters and discussing transportation issues with Demetri Skoufis of Metra …
