Obituary: Virginia Lois Mulliner, 84

Visitation and funeral service will be held Saturday in Elmhurst.

Virginia Lois Mulliner (nee Carlson), 84, of Elmhurst died Friday, Feb. 15. Mrs. Mulliner was born Oct. 10, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard A., and her sister, Florine Muhlenbruck. She is survived by her sons, Robert "Bob" E. (Kathy), Jack A. (Geri), Scott E. (Kay) and Mark A. (Barb); and her grandchildren, Tracy, Sara, Matt (Kellie), Kalene (Zach Benson, fiancé), Jason and Amanda (Juan) Martinez. Mrs. Mulliner was a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Road in Elmhurst. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst. In lieu of …
