Mariano's is Hiring, And Elmhurst Residents Get First Dibs!

Butcher? Baker? Specialty salad maker? What do you want to be?

You know a business is getting close to opening when it puts out the word that its ready to hire. Mariano's is on track to open this summer, and more than 400 employees are needed to keep it running smoothly. So, if you are in the market for a job at the market, be sure to attend the Mariano's Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19, at Elmhurst City Hall, 209 N. York. This exclusive opportunity was created just for Elmhurst residents, according to a press release from Mariano's. Interested residents can attend either session to learn about Mariano's many career opportunities. Elmhurst Mariano's is Starting to Take Shape

What is the magic in the mix that has residents almost giddy over the new store opening?

From a quick glance at the comments on Mariano's Facebook page just in the past week, it's clear this grocer must be doing something right. Nearly 15,000 people follow Mariano's on Facebook, just eating up the many posts about new store openings, food and wine specialties, holiday delicacies and in-store classes and events. "I love your store!!! Have you looked at opening in Lindenhurst??? Would love, love it and I wouldn't have to drive to Vernon Hills," one commenter said on Monday.
