Elmhurst Turkey Trot Breaks Record for Number of Participants; Here are the Winners

Another Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot is in the history books, and another record was broken. On Thursday, Nov. 22, more than 8,250 colorful participants—about 750 more than last year—ran and walked the 5-K. The course traveled from York and South streets, up York Road, around Elmhurst College and back to York and South. Runners crossed the finish line before the rain started, capping a near-perfect Thanksgiving morning. The top runner in both the male and female categories are Elmhurst residents.
