Officers from Multiple Jurisdictions Respond to Large Brawl at the Waverton Hotel
Reports coming in early Saturday morning indicate multiple people have been injured in the melee.
Elmhurst police were on the scene of a large fight involving possibly as many as 20 people at the Waverton Hotel, 624 N. York in Elmhurst, at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23. Minimal information is available, but initial reports indicated that about "20 to 25 people" were fighting in the bar area. Several people reportedly are injured, and glass was being thrown, according to dispatch reports. Ambulances are on the scene. Early reports indicate a woman and possibly others were bleeding from the head and face. Officers from Elmhurst, Bensenville, Oakbrook Terrace, Villa Park and DuPage County all are assisting at the scene. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
