A human body was found at an unspecified time floating in Salt Creek near Graue Mill, at the border of Hinsdale and Oak Brook, the DuPage County Sheriff's Office said in a Thursday release. The Sheriff's Office and the DuPage County Forest Preserve are working on identifying the body, and further information is not available. Salt Creek passes through Elmhurst on its way south through Oak Brook, and runs through the northeast section of Hinsdale before going under Interstate 294 and into the forest preserves north of Western Springs and La Grange. "The call initially came in at about 1:20 p.m. today of a possible body or person unconscious behind Diplomat West in the creek.
