Death Notice: Ben D. Allison, 77, formerly of Elmhurst
Visitation and funeral service is Saturday in Elmhurst.
Ben D. Allison, 77, of Carmel, Ind., formerly of Elmhurst, has died. Mr. Allison was a 1953 graduate of York High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was co-founder of Elmhurst Dental Associates, a member of the Elmhurst Lions Club and served on the Elmhurst Park District and Elmhurst Memorial Hospital boards. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, with a funeral service at 4:30 p.m., at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Road, in Elmhurst. Dr. Allison was my very first dentist at Elmhurst Dental Associates years ago. He was not only an excellent dentist, he was a very fine human being. He died too young. People like Dr. Allison should live to be at least a hundred! more ›
