Elmhurst Resident to Host Book Signing at Barnes and Noble
A portion of proceeds on Dec. 10 will go to the York Music Parents Association.
Elmhurst resident Emily Demuth Ishida will hold a book signing for her new novel, Plank Road Winter, at Barnes and Noble at Oakbrook Center Mall from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 10. Ishida is a member of the York Music Parents Association, and her children, David, Hans-Martin and Louisa, all have been very involved in the York band program. The book signing coincides with the York Music Parents Association Book Fair, which is on the same day at Barnes & Noble. The book store will donate a portion of its proceeds to YMPA. Customers just need to mention York music, and their purchases will be included in the Barnes and Noble donation. Published by Crickhollow Books in October, Ishida co-authored the historical novel with her sister Hilda Demuth. …
