With all the money shoppers spend at stores, it’s nice to get a freebie every once in a while. Today is that day. If you are making the rounds doing errands and need a little more energy to get everything done, stop by your local 7-Eleven to try out MiO Energy in Black Cherry. Participating stores nationwide will be handing out the liquid water enhancer. The 1.62 ounce regular size MiO can be used to flavor up to 18 – 8-ounce servings of water. Use MiO to your own taste. The giveaway will be held from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. April 23. Shoppers just need to bring the product to the register and mention the promotion, according to 7-Eleven. A two-day job fair will be held April 5 and 6 at Chuck’s Southern Comforts Café location in Darien. The job fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days at the restaurant, 8025 S. Through May 17, 7-Eleven is offering customers a special $2 breakfast deal. 7-Eleven stores all over the United States have been offering a mid-week pick-me-up to their patrons every Wednesday in January. Wednesday, Jan. 30, is your last chance to pick up any size cup of coffee for only $1. Brazilian Dark Roast is the retailer's newest, best-selling and most full-bodied coffee, according to a press release from 7-Eleven. But guests are welcome to create their own coffee creation. The deal is valid all day Wednesdays, Jan. 30. Elmhurst has three 7-Eleven stores, at 155 E. First St., 575 Spring Road and 572 S. York St.
