State Rep. Deb Conroy Invites Religious Leaders in her District to Offer House Invocation

Conroy (D-46, Elmhurst) says religious leaders from throughout the district are welcome to come to Springfield say the morning prayer.

State Rep. Deborah “Deb” Conroy (D-46, Elmhurst) is inviting local religious leaders to visit Springfield in the months to come. “I encourage all local religious leaders interested in offering the invocation at the House of Representatives to contact my office,” she said in a prepared statement dated Jan. 16. “Delivering the morning prayer is a unique opportunity for clergy from communities across the 46th District.”  Each day the House of Representatives is in session, a religious leader offers a short invocation to bless the Legislature as it attends to the people’s work. Letter to the Editor

Letter: York Township Supervisor Endorses Dan Kordik for the 46th District

Kordik puts forth a lot of effort to improve quality of life, John Valle says.

Dan Kordik is an honest, hard working member of our community. He is an active member of his church. In the more than 25 years I have known him, he has been involved in civic affairs as a member of the local school board, a member of the Lions Club, the Villa Park and Elmhurst chambers of commerce, and many more organizations and committees in his ongoing efforts to improve the quality of life in our community. He has a common sense approach to solving problems and the education, ability and experience to get any job done. I am proud to serve with him in the current township administration and I enthusiastically endorse Dan Kordik and his candidacy for State Representative in the 46th District. —John Valle, York Township supervisor
