Ray Graham Association for People with Disabilities provides support and services to more than 2,500 adults and…More children. Key to its mission is to provide resources to allow for independent living. In Elmhurst, Ray Graham operates Monarch Living, a new residential program located in a four-unit apartment building downtown.
The Ray Graham Community Learning Center, on Madison Street in Elmhurst, opened in 1975. It supports participants through employment, volunteerism and recreation opportunities. Individual plans are developed to support participants as they learn life skills.
RGA has programs and facilities at more than 35 sites, including in Lombard, Bensenville, Burr Ridge, Villa Park, West Chicago and Naperville. To assist people with disabilities in finding jobs, RGA has established partnerships with more than 100 businesses in DuPage County and has partnered with College of DuPage to offer employment skills training.
Recreation services are also a large part of RGA's mission. Programs include a horsemanship class, young athletes program, storytellers club and much more.
