Obituary: Michael Andrew Knott, 57, of Elmhurst

Visitation and Mass will be held Wednesday in Elmhurst.

Michael Andrew Knott, 57, of Elmhurst, died May 2. He was preceded in death by his father, George T. Knott, and his sister, Mary Helen Peplinski. Mr. Knott is survived by his daughter, Christina Ann (Knott) Carmona; his mother, Helen (nee Edelen); his siblings, Kathleen (Curt) Van Hooven, Nancy (William) Blakely, George (Joann) Knott, Lawrence (Adrienne Harding) Knott, Paul Knott and James Knott; his brother-in-law, Richard Peplinski; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at 11 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 426 N West Ave., Elmhurst. Interment is private.

Long-time Elmhurst resident Myron "Mike" J. Schultz, 82, died May 3. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Roberta; his sons, Michael and David; and five grandchildren. Estelle Elizabeth "Peachie" Bowen Estelle Elizabeth "Peachie" Bowen, 87, died Tuesday morning, April 30, in Fruitport, Mich. She was a life-long resident of Elmhurst prior to moving to the Muskegon, Mich., area three years ago. Peachie was a member of Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Elmhurst. She belonged to various prayer groups, and an investment club with her network of girlfriends. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph, and her four children, 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
