There are many who are better equipped to offer a knowledgeable opinion. My intuitive belief isRead More that the truest sign of talent is consistency. I am not sure if Jay Cutler fits this description.
Jim R January 3, 2014 at 10:12 am
This was a bad decision. While the Bears had a chance they should have dumped him. Compare theRead More ratings of Rodgers versus Cutler. Cutler has a career rating of 84.6 and for 2013 it was 89.2. Compare him to a good quarterback like Rodgers who has career rating of 104.9 and for 2013 it was 104.9. A telling sign is the number of td versus interceptions. In their careers for Cutler it was 155 td and 112 interceptions. Compare that to Rodgers who had 188 td and 52 interceptions. Personally I know they need a new defensive coach, and it would seem they still need a real coach. During the live ball debacle it appears the Green Bay coaches were telling the players to run the ball, but were the Bear coaches doing anything more than twiddling their thumbs. Maybe the Bears management feels they only have to appear better than the Cubs to appear successful, in other words set your goals low.

So, I am or am not entitled to my opinion based on whether or not I coached a championship team,Read More right? Nice logic. Come back to me and tell me about running when you have almost 40 years of running and racing (from 100 meter to marathons) under your belt like I have. Period.

I am sure Mr. Newton will be happy sit down with you and discuss coaching strategies. His fiftyRead More plus years of coaching speaks for itself. As a cross country parent I stand by my original statement and look forward to a great 2014 season.

I'm available any time. I'm glad to see you won't be disappointed with another 5th place finish.

Offense played well, and I wouldn't be upset if they just benched cutler and let him go next year.Read More But the Defense is dreadful, Melton was a huge loss, we haven't been getting any sacks, there is no QB pressure, 48 pts in unacceptable.
Jim Court October 21, 2013 at 07:14 pm
Adam, your analysis is extremely accurate.
