Service is slow and unfriendly. The Gyros are overcooked (you will get some burnt crunchy slices) and dried out. Way overpriced. Too bad because it is really hard to find a decent Gyro in DuPage County.
Yorky's Fast Food

Yorky's fast food is a small diner specializing in local fast food and Greek cuisine. With the glowing yellow gyro lighting the front window, it is no secret that of the other Chicago favorites served, the specialty dish is the gyro. This box-shaped eatery adorned with a chicken in its name has been quite famous to local residents since its opening 30 years ago. It does not seem to be going anywhere with the busy shuffle of customers, chatter, and much chomping that comes with the lunch time rush.

Great broiled and broasted chicken, fish dishes, gyros, rice, and salads. I have never gotten anything burnt at Yorky's. It must have been a bad day or the former reviewer. Consistent and great portions make this a value compared to other chicken places. It is always packed at lunch, so something must be good!
