Everyone has an opinion, just some are more accurate. For "The Club " to be listed on Elmhurst"s Dining Guide, one would think they should serve food ! Perhaps the owner wrote the other review of this "Hole in the wall". To picture this dark, antiquated, odor filled, beer joint as a "Cheer"s wanna-be, requires extreme medication. It solidly rank last in best bars of Elmhurst, with no competition nearby. The best feature of this establishment is the location, maybe someday it will be worth visiting again.

"Dive" (n) slang A disreputable or seedy bar or club. Honestly, who rates these places?
The Club is referred to as a "dive," when in all actuality, it is the last, great, old fashioned neighborhood tavern where everyone knows your name. Far from a dive, and the best drink for the money. Yes, they do private parties, yes, they have an ATM and hot bartenders. Try it, you'll like it!
If you are in fact looking for a dive, head about 2 miles east to Mannheim Road. There you will find dives where cocaine is snorted as freely as asbestos in a brake shoe factory and the women have been on more laps than a napkin.
