The Bethel Learning Center is affiliated with the United Church of Christ and provides early childhood education for children ages 2 through 5. BLC also offers the popular Kindergarten Enhancement classes in the afternoons for children who attend morning Kindergarten in public or private school. All children and families are welcome and no specific religious doctrine is taught. BLC is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) which is considered the gold standard for early childhood education. The center is located next to the Sandburg Middle School.

Friendly staff and highly knowledgable teachers who are also kind and fun!!
3 of my children have attended and they love to go back to read to the younger kids and see their old teachers.
My children have attended the 3s, 4s, and Kindergarten Enhancement programs at Bethel Learning Center (BLC) since 2007 and have had wonderful experiences. The faculty and staff are kind, knowledgeable, and nurturing. Students have large motor activity either outdoors on the BLC playground or in the large motor room (which receives natural light). They also have music each week.

I highly recommend the Kindergarten Enhancement program at Bethel - it is a nice compliment to the half-day public school kindergarten in Elmhurst. The program is very creative (for example, the kids write and put on their own plays), and the kids learn through hands-on fun. The teachers are incredibly kind and responsive, the music teacher is awesome, and the staff is great too.
