Enjoy the 50s While You Can; Deep Freeze Coming By The Weekend
Weather will turn cold in time for the Park District's tree lighting at Wilder Park, among other things. Don't forget to get those leaves out for free pickup.
Temperatures will approach 50 this week, but predicted showers on Wednesday will bring back the big chill—just in time for Elmhurst Park District's tree lighting at Wilder Park. But that won't stop Santa from coming; be sure to come out and visit him and the other fun holiday events happening in town this week.
And, be sure to get those leaves bagged this week. It's the last chance to have them picked up for free.

Tuesday—30 percent chance of rain with a high of 49 degrees. Temperatures will only drop to about 45 Tuesday night, with a persistent 30 percent chance of rain.

Thursday—From here on out, it's a quick plunge into the deep freeze. Expect a high Thursday of only 32 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures drop into the teens overnight.
