It's certainly going to be a busy week in Elmhurst, with classes, auditions and more. And, if you're looking for a job, there's a place to go for resume feedback this week, too. Following are eight things we thought you should know about:

1. Have you begun pulling those holiday lights out of the basement yet? If some of them have lost their luster, don't toss them in the landfill. Recycle them. Beginning today, you can drop off your dead lights at Courts Plus, 186 S. West Ave.; Wagner Community Center, 615 N. West); City Hall, 209 N. York; or the Park District administration office, 375 W. First.

2. Need another set of eyes on your resume before sending it out? Get one-on-one career counseling from JVS agency at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at Elmhurst Public Library for free.
