Informational meeting for college-bound students with IEPs and their parents

For most parents, navigating the college application process can be a daunting task. For parents of a student with an IEP, (Individualized Education Plan), the process can be overwhelming, deciding which colleges/universities will provide accommodations similar to what their child received in high school.

The fact is-- under the Americans with Disabilities Act-- all colleges need to provide resources for students with diagnosed disabilities. Finding out which school is the right fit for your teen requires you to seek out these services.

On Monday, September 9, Tim Butterly, a high school English teacher for the past 13 years and founder of tims-tutoring.com, will hold an informational meeting at The Elmhurst Knights of Columbus Hall (537 York) from 7:00-8:00 pm. All parents of students of IEPs, along with their children, are welcome to attend.

Contact Tim at (847) 220-0022 or Tims-tutoring.com with any questions. Together, we will get your son/daughter into the right college!
