Rep. Conroy’s Economic Development Advisory Committee To Pick “Good Neighbor Business of the Year”

VILLA PARK, Ill. – State Rep. Deb Conroy will meet with her Economic Development Advisory Committee on Thursday, Dec. 12th at 6:00 p.m. at her constituent services office located at 28 S. Villa Ave. in Villa Park. During this month’s meeting members of the committee will determine a winner for Rep. Conroy’s “Good Neighbor Business of the Year” competition.

“We have received numerous submissions from residents for the ‘Good Neighbor Business of the Year’ Award,” Conroy said. “It’s great to see that so many businesses in the district have been such upstanding members of the community this year.”

In addition to the advisory committee meeting Rep. Conroy will host satellite office hours this month. Rep. Conroy’s staff will be available to assist constituents on Tuesday, Dec. 10th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Glenside Public Library located at 25 E. Fullerton Ave. in Glendale Heights.

“The idea for the satellite office hours is to ensure that folks who do not live near my Villa Park office have the opportunity to get help with state services or voice their concerns about an issue,” said Conroy.  “With a new legislative session approaching I want to make sure that any resident that wishes to voice their concern about an issue is given that opportunity.”
