Rep. Conroy Invites Residents to Join Advisory Committees

VILLA PARK, Ill. – Rep. Deb Conroy (D-Villa Park) will be hosting a variety of citizen advisory committees during the month of September, including: Education (Sept 5), Mental Health Services (Sept 9), Veterans’ Issues (Sept 12), and Senior Issues (Sept 26).

 

“By hosting these citizens advisory committees I am able to receive feedback from residents of the 46th District that are passionate about specific issues,” said Conroy. “It is important to me to hear how laws are working or if changes need to be made from the people who are affected by them.”

The Senior Issues Advisory Committee will meet from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Glendale Heights Senior Center, located at 260 Civic Center Plaza in Glendale Heights.  All other advisory committees will meet at Rep. Conroy’s constituent services office, located at 28 S. Villa Ave. from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

“My top priority is to remain accessible to everyone in the district,” Conroy said. “By bringing together folks with different perspectives who are interested in an issue, we can move toward finding common sense solutions.”
