Rep. Conroy and AT&T Partner For 2nd Annual Free Community Shred Day to Help Prevent Identity Theft

VILLA PARK, Ill. –State Rep. Deb Conroy (D-Villa Park) is hosting her 2nd annual community shred day with AT&T Illinois. The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 14th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Conroy’s constituent services office located at 28 S. Villa Ave. in Villa Park.

“This event offers a great way for residents to safely dispose of sensitive documents that contain personal and private information,” Conroy said. “By disposing of personal documents in a safe manner we can prevent these types of documents from falling into the wrong hands and help mitigate the risk of identity theft.”

Residents and local businesses are invited to bring old, unneeded documents such as old tax returns, pay stubs, bills, and receipts to be safely disposed of at this free event.
