Conroy Will Host September Coffee Shop Stop in Villa Park

VILLA PARK, Ill. –State Rep. Deb Conroy, D-Villa Park, will host a coffee shop stop on Thursday Sept. 19th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Funky Java, located at 22 S. Villa Ave. in Villa Park.

“Coffee shop stops offer a great way for me to listen to residents about issues they are facing in a casual setting,” said Rep. Conroy.  “My top priority is to be accessible, and these meetings are just one of the ways that I am able to have an ongoing dialogue with residents of the 46th District.”

Rep. Conroy is working hard during the summer legislative recess to talk with as many people in the district as possible. Her office has hosted multiple Advisory Committees, Town Hall Meetings, a Job Seeker Workshop, and a State Services Fair.

“I’ve been staying very active this summer, along with going door-to-door talking to residents, my office has hosted multiple district-wide events,” said Conroy. “We’re planning on finishing out the summer with a few events in September, including a Mortgage Relief Seminar and a “Rules of the Road” Workshop.”
