Conroy to Host Veterans Appreciation Event at Glendale Heights VFW
VILLA PARK, Ill. –Rep. Deb Conroy is hosting a Veterans Appreciation Night on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Glendale Heights VFW located at 142 E. Army Trail Rd.
“During my Veterans Issues Advisory Committee meeting we decided that we wanted to hold an event to honor veterans,” said Conroy. “Any resident in the district that would like to honor veterans for their honorable service is encouraged to attend.”
During the event Susan Debinski a representative from the Chicago Veteran’s Benefits Administration, will provide information and take questions on the process of making a VA claim both nationally and in Illinois. Dinner will be provided at the event, which is free and open to the public.

“I have always held a deep admiration for the service and sacrifice of our veterans. Their dedication must not go unrecognized,” said Conroy. “I’m thankful to Susan for agreeing to speak at the event. It is vital that we ensure veterans are receiving and are aware of the benefits that they deserve.”
