Football: York Loses to Downers North, IC Earns Big Homecoming Win

The York Dukes were defeated 28-7 by Downers Grove North (4-3, 1-3 WSC Silver) Friday night in Downers Grove. The loss brings the Dukes to 3-4, 1-3 in WSC Silver.

Two games remain in the regular season:

• Oct. 18 vs. Lyons Township (3-3, 2-1)—7:30 p.m. 
• Oct. 26 at Glenbard West (5-1, 4-0)—1 p.m.

IC Catholic Prep

IC fared much better, with a 48-8 Homecoming win over Aurora Christian Saturday.

The win brings IC to a 4-3 overall record (2-2 in SCC Gold).
