Football: Pairings Announced for First Round of Playoffs
Elmhurst will be buzzing with football playoff excitement as IC Catholic Prep begins playoff action at home against Aurora Christian Saturday.

The Knights (6-3, 3-0 in Suburban Christian Gold) wrapped up an exciting season, beating Chicago Christian 56-20 Oct. 25.
The first round pairings for the playoffs were announced Oct. 26 on the Illinois High School Association website.

IC Catholic, No. 7 seed, will take on Aurora Christian, the No. 10 seed, in the first round of the Class 3A playoffs at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Plunkett Park in Elmhurst.
Aurora Christian (6-3, 2-2) is coming off a win against Guerin 48-7 Oct. 26.
