If you’re looking for a family activity that contributes to the community and supports sustainability, the Elmhurst Bicycle Task Force is sponsoring a Prairie Path Trail Clean-up day on Saturday, April 24, from 9 AM to noon. Volunteers should meet at the Old Train Depot on the Prairie Path east of York. Please bring work gloves and dress for the weather; the clean-up will be held rain or shine. Garbage sacks will be provided by the Park District. Parking is available in the municipal lot on Vallette, east of York. Service hours will be given; please bring your own form.
