A weekend-long Homecoming celebration kicks off Friday, Oct. 8, with a pep rally at 5 p.m. at Langhorst Field. On Saturday, the Bluejays will take on Wheaton Thunder Men at 1 p.m.
From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, members of the Fifty-Year Club (those who have graduated prior to or in 1960) are invited to spend the day at the college reminiscing with classmates. Cost is $25 for continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and programs, including presentations on The Niebhur Brothers, The Elmhurst Experience, Keeping the Aging Brain Healthy and more.
The Classes of 1950 and 1955 will hold their reunion dinners at the Frick Center Dining Room at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 8. Cost is $20. An All-Alumni Reception will follow from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Founders Lounge. Entertainment will be provided by the Elmhurst College Jazz Band.

On Saturday, Oct. 9, activities include the Bluejays Care Service Project from 8:15 a.m. to noon, the 40th anniversary of the EC student art collection and alumni art auction from 9 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., an alumni awards breakfast at 9 a.m., the choir alumni reunion and rehearsal at 10 a.m., the 1965 and 1970 reunion dinners at 5:30 p.m., various class reunions and much more.
On Sunday, Oct. 10, the Homecoming service will be held at 9:45 a.m. at Bethel United Church of Christ, 315 E. St. Charles Road.
