Annie Ryan Fun Run/5K Turns 13 on May 20, 2012
The Annie Ryan Run kicks off its 13th year. The 5K kicks off at 9:00 a.m. sharp at York Rd. and South St., followed by the one-mile dash for kids K-8th grade, at 9:45.
So far the event has raised over $500,000 for advancements in treating pediatric brain tumors, the number one leading cause of childhood cancer-related deaths.
Race-day registration is available at the Knights of Columbus, 537 S. York Rd. The 5K is $30; Kids Fun Run is $12.
First place female and male 5K runners will get a $250 cash prize. Medals are awarded to top kid finishers.
