The TESC U16 Girls Select team advanced to the semi-finals of the IYSA President's Cup on Tuesday, Oct. 2nd with a nice 3-1 victory over Elite Soccer Club from Arlington Heights. The girls created many scoring chances throughout the game and showed their high pressure defense throughout the entire field. Some great combination play and one touch passing by the players occurred throughout the game. The goals were scored by Carys Hund, Bailey Stearns and Kate Leonard. Coach Joey Ricely stated: "The girls created tons of opportunities to goal last night through proper build up, possession and great ball movement. We have been working hard on this new system and as the girls continue to get comfortable they will have more success throughout the season and in the future. The girls continue to impress me each game with their progress. I'm fortunate to be a part of this group as we continue our journey together.
Good luck to the team in the semi-finals on October 13th in Rockford.

That would make sense.

A couple of years ago, Villa Park installed "State Law- must stop for pedestrians" signs…Read More on the roadways where the Great Western and Prairie Paths cross. I saw a big increase in path users barreling across the streets with no regard for the stop signs on the path.

I really think that a step up in enforcement in the bicycle laws would help-just like the drunk driving laws-believe me the bicycle laws are just as important.
