York Distinguished Alumni Program Hosts Indoor Try-Athlon This Weekend

The following information comes from a press release from the York Community High School Distinguished Alumni Program: 

The York Distinguished Alumni Program (YDAP) is holding its second annual indoor Try-Athlon – bowling/bag toss/8-ball pool – on Sunday, March 23, beginning at noon at Fitz’s Spare Keys.

Lose the winter blahs, enjoy a little friendly competition and support YDAP in the process. Register your school today! Limit of 24 teams. Hint: last year was a blast!

The fee is only $40 for a team of four, which includes appetizers and bowling shoe rental.

Monetary prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, plus Spit-the-Pot drawing and other raffle prizes. A $100 sponsorship includes one team registration and signage at the event. For more information and/or to register, please visit www.elmhurst205.org/Alumni_Try-Athlon.

Last fall, the York Distinguished Alumni Program recognized and honored 8 Dukes of Distinction: alumni who have distinguished themselves through significant and extraordinary accomplishments or through service and an outstanding contribution to society. Nominations for 2014 are due byMarch 31.

Please consider nominating a deserving classmate (must be a graduate of least 10 years; no self-nominations accepted).
