Timothy Christian Heralds National Commended Students

Two students from Timothy Christian High School in Elmhurst were named Commended Students in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Seniors Logan Byrne and Rebecca Voulgarakis are among about 34,000 Commended Students nationwide who are recognized for their academic talents.

Although they will not continue in the 2014 competition for National Merit scholarship awards, Commended Students place among the top 5 percent of the more than 1.5 million students who entered the competition by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
