Share Concerns and Ask Questions of District 205 Board and Administrators Nov. 5

Informal, small-group discussions provide a unique opportunity to meet those who are shaping children's future.

Elmhurst PTA Council invites parents and community members to gather informally with Elmhurst District 205 Board of Education and district administrators from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at the administration center, 162 S. York.

Attendees will engage in small-group discussions with School Board members, Superintendent David Pruneau and members of his cabinet. Those without questions will benefit from hearing what’s on the minds of the Elmhurst school community. It’s also a chance to speak personally with the people who are shaping the future of District 205 students.

Attendees will divide into three groups and meet with School Board members and administrators in three, 30-minute sessions. Topics include: An introduction to the new District 205 key performance indicators, finance, curriculum and instruction, and board improvement and community relations. Everyone who attends will have an opportunity to speak with all participating board members and administrators.

All District 205 residents are invited. Desserts baked by York High School students in the family and consumer science department will be offered. Additional parking is available at Hawthorne Elementary School.
