On Tuesday and Wednesday, a handful of District 205 schools experienced network outages, which affected Internet and telephone service, according to the Elmhurst Community Unit School District 205 website.
The schools affected by the outages included: Bryan, Churchville and Sandburg Middle schools as well as Conrad Fischer and Hawthorne Elementary schools.
The school district is working to address the problem.
Parents needing to make an emergency call to one of the affected schools should contact the District 205 Center at (630) 834-4530. The message will then be relayed to the appropriate school.
