Immaculate Conception Grade School Holds Auction Fund-raiser

Auction winners took home Bears tickets, four-night stay in the Rockies and—a puppy.

On Feb. 11, the Immaculate Conception Grade School Parents’ Club held its annual dinner auction at the Carlisle in Lombard.

This year’s theme, a Knight in Chicago, provided guests with the opportunity to sample food from Chicago’s various neighborhoods, such as Little Italy, Greek Town and Chinatown. Live auction items included a 10-week-old Havanese puppy, tickets for an upcoming Lady Gaga concert at United Center, a four-night stay in a luxury home in the Colorado Rockies and opening-day Bears tickets. In addition, there were numerous parties, sports tickets camps, and luxury items in the silent auction. Auction and dinner-dance co-chairmen for this year’s event were Linda McCarthy, Michele Janc and Jorgene Calles.
