Around 50 new homes could be built on the former Elmhurst Hospital property, adding more students to District 205. The board on Tuesday will discuss what the impact fee should be.

Elmhurst Unit District 205 will learn Tuesday night what a developer of new housing on Elmhurst Hospital's Berteau property should pay the district in impact fees. Board members also will hear from PMA Financial Network on the district's five-year financial projections.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m., following a closed session to discuss student discipline, employment of an employee, property acquisition/lease/purchase and approval of closed session minutes.

The open meeting will begin with recognition of College Board Advanced Placement National Scholars, and an acknowledgment of Board Appreciation Day.

The district's four standing committees—policy, board improvement, performance management and finance and operations—will then update the board on any new business.

In addition to approval of accounts payable and personnel, the superintendent's consent agenda will include the following:

  • acceptance of school report cards
  • approval of new and modified York High School courses
  • policy approvals

The board will then take action on the student discipline discussed in closed session.

The meeting will be held at the district administration offices, 162 S. York Road.
