Field School Names New Principal
D205 school board confirms Tammy Poole as the new principal at Field Elementary School.
Starting next fall, Field Elementary School students will see a new face greeting them in the hallways.
The Elmhurst Dist. 205 school board confirmed Tammy Poole as Field's new during the board's regular meeting on March 25.

Poole will start her new position beginning July 1. She is replacing retiring principal Cindy Gotha.
Poole brings an extensive background in school administration, where she has currently served as principal of Lake in the Hills Elementary since 2005.
She has been an elementary assistant principal, a summer school coordinator and supervisor. Pool has 13 years' experience in the classroom as an elementary teacher.

During her time in Lake in the Hills, Poole was active in the community's Rotary Club, serving on the Rotary chapter's board of directors and as president for eight years.
Poole holds a B.S. in elementary education from Southern Illinois University in 1992, a master’s degree in administration from the University of Illinois, Champaign in 1999, and a Gifted Institute Level 1 and 2 endorsement from Aurora University in 2002.
