Elmhurst College will welcome New York Times columnist David Brooks and a panel of leading scholars on religion Oct. 1.
The forum marks the start of a three-year period of Centennial events celebrating the graduation of alumni Reinhold Niebuhr (1910) and H. Richard Niebuhr (1912). The forum will explore the persistence of evil in the world.
A forum panel discussion at 4 p.m. will include experts in religion. Brooks will deliver the keynote address at 7 p.m.
