Some comments from past participants in this program:

“Hearing firsthand from the guest speakers gave me hope. Hearing each family’s story helped me realize I was not alone.”

“The course is very informative. It gives me a better understanding of the “system” and the consumer [person with a mental illness]. NAMI is doing a great job in bringing mental illness out in the open and to the public.”

“The class provided an optimistic outlook for myself and my family. Also gave me the tools to move forward.”

While the Family to Family program is an educational course, NAMI DuPage also has support groups at various locations.
