Lecture: “Taking Diversity Seriously”

As a highlight of Elmhurst College’s 2011 Women’s History Month celebration, Dr. Marla Brettschneider, professor of political philosophy and feminist theory at the University of New Hampshire, will present “Taking Diversity Seriously,” the annual Genevieve Staudt Guestship Lecture. Brettschneider, who also is the coordinator of women’s studies at the University of New Hampshire, has published multiple books on topics that range from Jewish views on multiculturalism to democratic theorizing.
