Espionage: A Cold War Weapon

Chicago area resident Werner Juretzko is a former G-2 U.S. Army Intelligence Operative who conducted authorized undercover espionage missions during the Cold War. In 1955, he was apprehended by the East German secret police. Hear the story of Juretzko’s missions behind the Iron Curtain and the six years he spent as a prisoner in the torture chambers beneath Berlin. The Museum will be open for curator tours after the program.
