Creating Multimedia Instruction for Student-Centered Learning

Lewis University College of Education is offering Continuing Professional Development Credit with Summer Seminars for teachers and administrators. Five seminars are being presented in June at various locations. Each seminar is $40 per person and meets from 8 a.m. to noon. Pre-registration is required. “Creating Multimedia Instruction for Student-Centered Learning”-- June 23--Oak Brook Campus

This workshop will introduce a variety of ways to create and present instruction with multimedia elements such as video, audio, animation and links for student-centered learning. Participants will gain hands-on experience using SMART Notebook and free collaborative Web 2.0 tools such as PBworks, Movie Maker, Glogster, etc. Upon completion of this workshop, the participants will be able to produce instructional materials using multimedia and design collaborative class projects with Web 2.0 tools. Dr. Seung Kim will present.
